Creating A Backyard Oasis With Patio Fountains

Is your backyard a mess? Do you wish you could turn it into a quiet, and peaceful place to relax on the weekends or at the end of a hard day? Patio fountains are an excellent way to turn your humdrum patio into a soothing paradise that you can be proud of. Patio fountains come in all sizes, but are typically small enough to fit in a corner of your patio without taking up a lot of space.

    Price

The price of patio fountains range from relatively cheap to fairly expensive. The cost of the fountain you choose will be mostly dependant upon the size of the fountain you choose. The material used to create your fountain will also have an impact on the price; as will the amount of detail the artist has used. You can expect to pay anywhere from a mere fifty dollars, all the way up to thirty five hundred dollars for a patio fountain. It is rumored that one artist commands an astonishing fifteen thousand dollars per piece for each of her patio fountains.

    Installation

Installing patio fountains is relatively easy. The fountain you choose will contain easy to follow instructions, but you can have a professional install it for you as well. The type of fountain you choose will determine how difficult it is to set up. Some patio fountains are self-contained and all you have to do is add water, plug them in, and sit back and relax.

Other patio fountains may require a bit more to get them going. Many are not self-contained, and require that you install the pumps separately as well as attach an outside water supply directly to the fountain. This is actually much simpler than it may seem. For some fountains, this can be as simple as attaching a water hose to the pump and then turning it on.

    Styles

Patio fountains come in so many different styles, it would be impossible to list them all here. Whatever your particular tastes may be, there is a fountain out there just for you. From mermaids and children, to the fantastic and mythical, there is no limit to the different styles of patio fountains available. If you prefer a more minimalist approach, yep, there's a fountain for you, too.

Whatever your budget, whatever your taste, patio fountains are the perfect way to create an outdoor oasis that will invite you to relax anytime you are home.
